SocialMadeSimple
The owners of SocialMadeSimple came to us with a great idea and a list of requirements.

After accepting our proposal, we had a series of on-site design and architecture meetings at SocialMadeSimple HQ in MA. A few weeks later, our software team began development.

We delivered the first beta version in time for a preview at the Inman Real Estate Connect January 2010 show in NYC, and we launched version 1.0 a few weeks later.

We have continued to work with the SocialMadeSimple team: releasing four minor enhancement releases over the past year, handling maintenance and network administration, and participating in the Inman Real Estate Developers Challenge on their behalf at Real Estate Connect SF 2010.
Mobile Spotlight:
Categuru and GreenEDU
One of our specialties is iPhone Application Development. Categuru and GreenEDU are part of our vast catalog of iPhone Apps that we have developed for clients.

Categuru is a word game—hatchMAP was responsible for both the software development and audio production and our design partner Sia Ea took care of the graphic design. GreenEDU is a flashcard style study tool for GreenEDU—a leading nationwide architectural education firm.

Fusion IQ Rank
Fusion came to us after trying to outsource development of their stock metrics platform to India.

Tired of dealing with language barriers and time zone differences, the Fusion team came to us to take over development of their Fusion IQ stock ranking platform.

hatchMAP developed the front and back ends of the IQ system for launch in 2008. We developed many additions and enhancements to the IQ system, and assisted Fusion's transition into having their own in-house development team.

In addition to consulting work, we function as what we like to call our Venture Technologist model.

Similar to the way a VC works, we have a review board that considers new internet and mobile ventures. When we find something we love, we manage the entire product lifecycle—architecture, design, development, rollout, and maintenance—in exchange for equity in the project.

Perfect Pitch Partnership:
Musicia for iPhone
Musicia is one of our completed equity partnership projects.

Musicia is an iPhone app directed towards music students. We designed a real time audio analysis system that can detect what note a student is playing. Musicians are shown a note to play and are awarded points based on their speed and accuracy.

Musicia has 90 levels of gameplay—and includes an instrument tuner as well.
